Who is Samuele:
I was born in a small village on the northern coast of Italy. Being just a few steps away from the shoreline, I had easy access to the western side of the Alps, which led me to develop my passion for mountains and related activities such as hiking and skiing. This duality between mountains and sea strongly influences my photography to this day.
After leaving my job as a leather artisan, I began traveling long-term: a journey that has yet to end. This drastic change in my life helped me focus on what I truly loved, finding a way to live by doing what brings me joy and fulfillment.
Today, I express myself through my photography, capturing my vision of the landscapes I traverse, aiming to immerse viewers in the beauty of our planet.
I have always been an avid traveler and curious explorer. My work not only documents the beauty of the places I visit, but also strives to convey the emotions and sense of awe I experience on location. When I witness a special moment in nature, my goal is to bear witness to it for the world, to remind others of the importance of being present, to invite them to pause, and to fully appreciate the gift of simply being immersed in our natural environment.
Too often today, we live disconnected from our true selves, absorbed by a modern and globalized world. We tend to forget what lies beyond our homes, our jobs, and our cities. Nature is always there, available to all of us, offering peace, wisdom, and a sense of wonder. If I can inspire viewers to reconnect with even a fragment of the wildness that lives within all of us, then I consider myself a successful landscape photographer.
